Research interests: Visual History, German Nationalism, German Colonialism, Art History, Material History.Gilly Eran is interested in visual and material aspects of German nationalism and their contribution to the construction of German nationalist narratives. She is a graduate of the Hebrew University with a major in History and Art History, and a fellow of the MA HONORS PROGRAM 2022/23 of the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School for Advanced Studies at the Humanities of the Hebrew University.
